The pandemic intensified companies and people’s reflection on their roles in society and their impacts on the world.
In this context, the debate on the ESG agenda gained ground. This movement brought a series of questions about what is impact and how to assess it. This report will share our view on the topic based on the results, challenges, and reflections that MOV and the investee companies in our portfolio have experienced over the last ten years.
The report presents the aggregate impact of our first fund using the Impact Management Project (IMP) methodology and two studies that address strategies to promote large-scale and lasting transformation. It also shows each investee’s evolution up to the first half of 2021, its assessments based on the IMP and the refinement of each impact thesis.
We hope that shared experiences and learning can generate insights and thoughts that encourage people and companies to include the dimension of impact in their investment and business decisions.
