The 2023 Impact Report from MOV Investimentos consolidates and deeply analyzes the challenges, advancements, and socio-environmental impact results related to the activities of the companies in the portfolio of our two operational investment funds.
In this fourth edition of the report, we dedicate a chapter to measure, assess, and critique our performance and that of the companies in our portfolio regarding gender and race equity among their employees. Inequalities are profound structural issues in Brazil, which do not exempt us from responsibility but rather compel us to promote new perspectives and alternatives that address this serious dysfunction in our society. We remain committed to this purpose, even though we are only at the beginning of the journey.
In 2023, MOV celebrates 11 years of history. We exist because we believe it is possible to build and invest in companies with business models that contribute to reducing social inequalities and reversing environmental degradation in Brazil. To the entrepreneurs who allow us to accompany them and witness their energy and perseverance, thank you very much.
